Purchase Steps

From order to welcome email

Choose your game

Go to derangedhosting.com/order, pick the game, then choose the location closest to your players.

Configure the server

Select slots, RAM, billing period, and available options. Confirm the price before adding it to cart.

Complete checkout

Create an account or log in, choose Stripe or PayPal, accept terms, and complete the order.

Check your email

Your game panel login and server details are sent to the order email after payment clears.

Open the panel

Use gameportal.derangedhosting.com and log in with your welcome email account.

Find your service

Open your active server to reach power controls, console, file manager, backups, and updates.

Panel password

Use the reset option on the panel login page if your password is missing or forgotten.

Billing account

Invoices and subscriptions live in the client area at derangedhosting.com/login.

First Start

Before inviting players

Start the server

Click Start. Fresh services may take a few minutes to install or generate first-time files.

Watch console output

Wait for startup to finish. Console errors usually explain version, config, or mod problems.

Copy IP and port

Send friends the full IP:PORT, password if set, and the exact mod list or game version.

Stop before editing

Stop first. Some games rewrite config files during shutdown and can undo live edits.

Edit files

Use File Manager for quick config changes, FTP/SFTP for larger uploads or world transfers.

Install mods

Mod steps vary by game. Check the game guide before changing loaders or Workshop lists.

Back up first

Back up saves, worlds, configs, and mod lists before updates, wipes, or migrations.

Open a support ticket with the server name and requested change. We will confirm what can change and whether data needs to move.

How do I cancel or update payment?

Use the client area at derangedhosting.com/login, then open your order or subscription.

What should a support ticket include?

Include game, server name, IP:PORT, what changed, when it started, and any console errors.

Can you migrate from another host?

Yes. Open a ticket after ordering with the old host FTP/SFTP details and the game name.
