Deranged Hosting – Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs the use of all services provided by Deranged Hosting. By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.

1. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

The following activities are strictly prohibited on all Deranged Hosting services:

• DDoS Attacks — Using our services to launch, facilitate, or participate in distributed denial of service attacks against any target is strictly prohibited and may result in criminal referral.
• Malware & Hacking — Hosting, distributing, or executing malware, viruses, ransomware, keyloggers, or tools designed to gain unauthorized access to systems.
• Piracy — Running game servers using pirated, cracked, or unlicensed copies of games or game server software.
• Illegal Content — Hosting any content that is illegal under United States law or the laws of the country where the server is located.
• Cryptocurrency Mining — Running any cryptocurrency mining software on our infrastructure.
• Spam — Using our services to send unsolicited bulk email or other communications.
• Resource Abuse — Consuming excessive CPU, RAM, or bandwidth in ways that degrade performance for other customers.
• Unauthorized Reselling — Reselling or subletting our services without prior written approval from Deranged Hosting.

2. GAME SERVER RULES

All game servers hosted on Deranged Hosting infrastructure must comply with the terms of service of the game developer and publisher. Servers running mods or plugins must ensure those modifications comply with applicable licenses. Deranged Hosting is not responsible for the content of customer-run game servers.

3. NETWORK USAGE

Customers may not use our network to conduct port scanning, network probing, or any activity intended to identify vulnerabilities in third-party systems. Intentional disruption of network services for other customers is prohibited.

4. REPORTING ABUSE

To report abuse originating from Deranged Hosting infrastructure, please open a support ticket through your client area at derangedhosting.com.

5. ENFORCEMENT

Deranged Hosting reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP. We may suspend or terminate services immediately upon discovery of a violation. No refunds will be issued for accounts terminated due to AUP violations. We reserve the right to cooperate with law enforcement in the investigation of suspected criminal activity.

6. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Deranged Hosting reserves the right to modify this AUP at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
